互联网搜索与数据管理组从事深度学习、知识挖掘和如何将它们与众包结合获得更高精度的研究。该组的目标是开发新的计算能力来联合改进热工智能和文本的机1166器理解，并将这些能力应用与下一代的搜索和智能应用。
工作职责
我们在招募对密集型数据计算和大规模数据管理(即大数据计算和管理) 感兴趣的志愿者。我们致力于以图表中心，主内存的查询处理，灵活架构的数据，结构数据和文本的整合集中处理等项目。可以预知，我们的很多项目对产业界和社会都会产生很大的影响，我们希望能够找到有热情和信心推进这一进展的实习生一起工作。
任职要求
•        本科及以上学历计算机科学相关专业的在校学生
•        有上进心
•        具备面向对象编程的经验，如Java或C#
•        具有编程或编程语言经验者优先
•        具有数据库或系统设计经验者优先
•        可以得到导师的书面同意
工作时间要求
能保证至少6个月的实习

Group Overview
The Web Search and Data Management Group is performing cutting edge research in machine learning and knowledge mining and combining with crowdsourcing to assist automatic algorithms for higher accuracy. The group’s goal is to develop new capabilities to jointly advance the state-of-the-art in machine comprehension of text and artificial intelligence, and to apply the capabilities to empower next-generation search engines and intelligent applications.

Role& Responsibility
We are looking for interns who are interested in data-intensive computing and scalable data management (a.k.a. Big Data). We are working on a number of projects that center around graphs, main-memory query processing, data with flexible schemas, and integrated processing of structured data and text. Many projects have foreseeable impacts to the industry and the community, and we are looking forward to working with someone who has passions in making that happen quickly.  

Required Qualification:

•        BS, MS or PhD students in Computer Science or related majors
•        Self-motivated
•        Proficient in Object-Oriented programming, e.g., Java and/or C#
•        Experiences in  compiler and programming languages are a big plus
•        Experiences in databases and/or system design are preferred.
•        Can get your advisor’s approval.

Required Internship Duration:
Can commit at least 6 months
